Fall is the start of a great season of events in the Tri-state area, along with a focus on the positive.

It’s Positive Attitude Month. It takes about one to two months for a habit to form. That gives everyone a chance to start with being positive — or generally grateful — in October and having it stick by Thanksgiving. With October being Postive his seems very appropriate. Experts say there are some practical steps to accomplishing this goal. And really, who dosen’t need an extra helping of posivity these days. These include:

• Beginning each day with writing down three things for which you are grateful.
• Being mindful to focus on the present, not replaying the negative things of the past or stressing about future things.
• Developing healthy habits including moving, eating right and getting time outside and away from screens.
• Engaging in things you like to do and being around those that people that life you up.

And the BlueBox Rental dumpster team in Hagerstown, MD is positive they can help with any mess that’s is causing you to be down.

Clean out as you unpack the holiday decorations

One thing that can definetly cause the blues is having a lot of unwanted stuff clogging up usable space.

The next three months will likely include digging out the holiday decorations. Some people may know exactly where the neatly stacked totes are in the organized storage area of their home. Others may be hoping they aren’t crushed under the weight of everything currently surrounding those decorations.

This is the perfect time to do that clean out you’ve been talking about. The BlueBox driver can deliver a roll-off close to the door most convenient to the storage space. Everything you pick up that is of no use to anyone in the house, neighborhood or those scouring FaceBook Marketplace, you toss into the dumpster. Think of it laike a giant trash can that you will never have to empty.

GREAT IDEA ALERT: Do the clean out a couple days before hosting a yard sale. The junk items go in a dumpster and the sale items get priced and go out for the sale. Whatever dosen’t get sold for cheap, goes to Goodwill or Salvation Army stores, OR into the dumpster before the pickup date.
